Secondary Social Studies Stuff (that works)

Workshop Number: 42

Presenter:
Tim Shelton

Description:
This fast-paced workshop will present a variety of teaching ideas useful in a high school social studies classroom. Ideas to be discussed include tech media (powerpoint, etc…) and smartboard ideas, vocabulary activities, review games, websites and other “stuff” to fill your files making the first year a little easier. This workshop will demonstrate many as they are used in the classroom so it will require participation and cooperation. Please don’t come expecting to just sit and listen. The length of the workshop will not allow for every idea to be demonstrated in full detail. The concept will be to supply you with as many ideas as time allows and anything you want follow-up on can be supplied. All questions are welcomed, requested and encouraged.
