School districts across the state are working to provide 21st century classrooms and instruction for 21st century learners. Come explore Web 2.0 tools that will help you engage the 21st century learners that will be sitting in your classroom. We’ll take a look at Web 2.0 tools that are easily accessible to teachers and students. Be prepared to explore practical and innovative ways to use those tools to increase student learning.

Presenter Details:
Jayme Linton has six years of classroom experience, teaching 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. She received her B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University and a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from ASU. She taught in Marietta City Schools and Hickory Public Schools, and currently works for Newton-Conover City Schools. Jayme worked as an Instructional Coach at South Newton Elementary for two years, coaching teachers and providing staff development. She is currently working as the Instructional Technology Facilitator and Staff Development Coordinator for NCCS.
