Description:

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, you can never be prepared for everything that will happen in your classroom. But, you can be prepared to relax no matter what comes your way. I will teach you how to breath, give self-massages, and use aromas and colors to help you relax. I will also teach you how to use these techniques with your students to deescalate the stress level of the class. Recommended for teachers of any grade level, any subject area.

Presenter Details:
Stephanie Wallace is a Kappa Delta Pi and Teaching Fellows graduate of UNCG, class of 2000. She has been teaching English at East Forsyth High School for ten years. Stephanie is a National Board Certified teacher who is involved in many aspects of education. She serves as the President of the Forsyth Association of Teachers of English and on the Executive Board for the Forsyth Association of Educators. Stephanie was the 2005 North Carolina Association of Educators’ Teaching Excellence award winner and NEA finalist. Last, but by no means least, she is a wife and mother of two.
